At D&J Marble & Granite, we only use the best machines when it comes to manufacturing your stone workbenches. As an expert stone mason company, we understand the necessity for precision manufacturing as well as beautiful design which is why we use CNC machine technology.
What is CNC machine technology for a Stone Mason?
CNC stands for computer numerical control, and these machines are are highly automated using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD and CAM). To find out more about CNC technology, take a look at the video to the right of this text.
Our use of CNC machines in our stone mason work means that the manufacture process is incredibly precise, as the technology allows for far greater control over the whole process. A computer controls the exact positioning and velocity, precisely measuring, cutting and manufacturing to your exact specifications.
The machinery is also much faster and needs fewer breaks than even the most skilled human stone mason, which means that we’ll get your stone work to you quickly and efficiently.
Once the machine has been programmed to manufacture a product exactly how you want it, this can then be replicated perfectly time and again. This means that you will get the same amazing results every single time.
Dedicated to ensuring our customers receive only the best quality products, we have invested in several state of the art CNC machines, in order to perform the various tasks necessary for the manufacturing process. These include a bridge saw machine, a proliner check and measuring machine, and an automatic edge and polishing machine. Have a look at the pictures below to get an idea of the machines we use.
All of our machines are operated by highly trained stone mason professionals, and are carefully maintained and serviced to ensure they complete the job to the highest standards.
